I understand the intent, but I think you need to be more flexible.

I wasn't discussing our 'receivers' I was discussing Ginn. Sure he is a WR, but that is a broader discussion.

I think that there should be enough flexibility by the moderators to allow discreet discussions to flourish. If people are discussing the passing game in general; I might start a thread about 1 QB in particular. Merging it is unnecessary and muddies the discussion I am trying to have.

The other thing is often someone starts a discussion about something like the WR's and it digresses into a discussion about Virgina Tech. or some esoteric sub-plot with people going back and forth insulting each other. That's a drag. Once I start seeing that...I would prefer to start a new thread that gets back to the topic. Merging it just puts it at the end of some boring argument that most people don't bother to wade through.

This has been my favorite Phins site for 13 or so years. Seriously, I have been posting a LONG!!!!! TIME!!!!! and this is new...and I think its a drag.
