The first merged thread was an error. It happens sometimes it was corrected when you pointed it out.

But we have always merged threads that were discussing hte same topic. Its easier that way. First of all, it keeps the board cleaner and secondly it allows people to go to one place to have and follow the same discussion.

I can understand why you might want to have short concise threads that stay on topic but that doesn't happen. It is exremely annoying and difficult to continue a discussion on multiple threads. Not only do you have to repeat yourself, over and over its harder to find your posts and continue your discssions.

The post you made on Ginn might not have matched the post title but it was clearly a continuation of the discussion taking place in that thread. That's why it was merged.
