Sep 20, 1996: -- Aaron Jones Has Surgery --
DOLPHINS NEWS:
The Dolphins announced today that defensive end Aaron Jones
had arthoscopic surgery to remove damaged cartilege in his right knee.
The damage to his knee was apparently cumulative and Jones will miss
the upcoming game against the Colts and will be re-evaluated following
the bye week.
So far this year, Jones has 4 total tackles and 1 sack.
My Comments:
Jones is probably the most expendable defensive lineman that
the Dolphins have right now, and I doubt he'll be missed much on
Monday night. This may give Norman Hand a chance to play some
football, since JJ will probably want to dress another defensive
lineman in Jones' place.
