DOLPHINS NEWS:

The Dolphins announced today that they have signed former San Francisco tight end Brett Carolan to a deal for undisclosed terms. The 6'3", 241 lb Carolan has played 2 years for the 49ers, mostly on special teams, but he has caught 3 passes for 13 yards.

My Comments:

Since the Dolphins had 59 players after they traded Stoyo yesterday, they probably signed Carolan just on the slim chance that he might be worthwhile. He probably won't be with the team in a week, however.
