Dec 28, 1995: -- Buckley AFC Defensive Player of the Week --

Terrell Buckley has been named the AFC's defensive player of the week for his play against the St. Louis Rams in last Sundays game. Buckley lead the team with 7 tackles and also had an interception in Miami's 41-22 win over the Rams.

Buckley was the first Dolphin defensive player to be named as player of the week this year and this is also the first time that Buckley has been named as a player of the week in his career.

My Comments:

Well, well, well! Will wonders never cease! I'm not sure that Buckley deserves this honor, but in anticipation of playing the Bills on Saturday, any honors the team can get are welcome.
