Dolphins News: Marino has arthroscopic knee surgery
*** DOLPHINS NEWS ***
Oct 09, 1995: -- Marino has arthroscopic knee surgery --
ESPN and WQAM in Miami are reporting this morning that Dan
Marino injured the cartilage in his right knee during the game last
night and that he is having arthoscopic knee surgery this morning.
Apparently, he injured his knee during the game and had an MRI
on his knee immediately after the game was over. At that time, the
surgery was scheduled for this morning.
The extent of his injury is not known.
My Comments:
My guess is that the injury is not too serious and that he'll
be out between 2 and 6 weeks, but I'm not a doctor and I have no
inside knowledge. The fact that he played through the entire game
would seem to be a good sign.
