Aug 08, 1995: -- Oliver Activated --

The Dolphins announced that they are removing Louis Oliver from the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list and placing him back on the regular roster. This means a return to practice for the re-signed Dolphin safety.

The Dolphins have also waived fullback/running back Michael Davis and defensive tackle Corey Swinson.

My Comments:

Now that Oliver is back, he can get back into the swing of things and lend his freewheeling, hard hitting style to the defense.

Davis was an undrafted rookie signee who was already waived once and brought back. Swinson was a 7th round draft pick who has size, but apparently lacks technique and became doubly expendable with the acquisition of Emtman and the return of William Gaines from last year's injuries.
