Apr 21, 1996: -- Marino Agrees to Extension --

According to ESPN's Chris Mortenson, Dan Marino has agreed to a contract extension that he will sign with the Dolphins later this week. The extension is reportedly for $18 million over 3 years.

My Comments:

The negotiations have been going on for some time now, but it sure is a relief to get them done and get Marino signed. This pretty much seals Marino's future with the Dolphins.
