Dolphins News: Shula Says No to Baltimore Jobs

*** DOLPHINS NEWS ***

Feb 14, 1996: -- Shula Says No to Baltimore Jobs --

The Baltimore Sun and Miami Herald are both reporting that Don Shula has politely turned down Art Modell's job offer.

Shula has turned down Modell's offers of both a coaching job and/or a front office position. Modell said that he had a brief conversation with Don Shula in which Shula told him that he didn't want to leave South Florida and was done with 18 hour days working on football.

My Comments:

I believe that Don Shula has made the right decision. Hopefully he'll enjoy his retirement.
