On the cusp of getting unblocked Bob leads with a jab to the ribs and a poke in the eye. I guess the thought of sitting around the campfire singing "Cumbaya" WAS a little farfetched.

JC, do you recall when NE won their first SB (I think) there was a much publicised photo of 6 former Miami players with their SB rings on their middle fingers sent to the Davie office. Larry Izzo was one of them. Maybe Brian Cox but, I'm not sure.

I forget where I saw it but, there was another logo floating around that sported not one but two Dolphins. It looked kinda cool too.

Now that the dust is settling from the frenzy of the height of the FA signings I'm reading more and more evaluations giving Miami poor grades for overspending. One "analyst" even went so far as to call Miami the new Washington Redskins, doling out big contracts and expecting big results. Personally I thought Ireland did a pretty good job, so far, addressing needs but still, it's inter

Maybe he would agree to the same pay as Wake and then have the two of them fight over a 2 million bonus for whoever gets the most sacks.

Adam Shefter is reporting that the Ram's courtship of Jake long is not a done deal; Unlike Sean Smith, who never received a formal offer from the Miami Dolphins, Jake Long is being actively recruited to stay. It is believed the St. Louis Rams have made an offer to Jake Long after hosting him in St. Louis for the past 2 days, and Long is currently deciding between the Rams and the Dolphins. Stay

15 sacks for his entire NFL carreer of 4 seasons. Might be a late bloomer like Wake. Certainly worth taking a close look at.

I, can't for the life of me, imagine why anybody would want to work for that kind of money. 7 million a year doesn't go but so far and a guy's gotta eat.

I recall somebody posting the video clip of Smith making that spectacular one handed interception during preseason of his rookie year. Pretty impressive, very un-bust like. Evidently he has the hands but, maybe he just hasn't found his groove yet. I still think he can develop further with help.

There have always been natural cycles. The debate today is whether human activity is upsetting or compounding the natural cycles. The available data suggests that it is.

Henry, It always has been "Climate Change" brought upon by "Global Warming". Most people don't realize that warming of the oceans results in increased evaporation, more moisture in the atmosphere results in increased precipitation in the form of snow, sleet and, rain which forces cooler air down from the stratosphere. Ice ages are the indirect result of Global Warming. Stay wa

Now the retired engineer chimes in. Railway systems are many times more cost effective than buses or trucks in moving freight or people. When you have a string of railway cars the first, the locomotive is basically doing all the work, punching a hole in the air. The following cars are along for a free ride ( think of it like the drafting effect of NASCAR racers). The more cars the more cost effec

As I recall there were very few deep balls thrown to Harline this past season. Except for the home run in the Arizona game most of the rest were overthrown or underthrown. Connect on a couple of those and we wouldn't be criticizing his lack of production. You could argue that he's not fast enough to get under the overthrown passes but, the underthrown ones are more on the QB. Give him and Tannehi
