Sherman knows Michael. Monte Ball is another to consider in the 3rd if avail. We can say it isn't a position of need if our starting backfield are more unproven than last years WR's

I can't see Johnson getting past San Diego. Menelik Watson is an interesting prospect, probably won't be there with our second pick, but would if we traded down

Is Lane Johnson worth trading up? Is he that much better than Watson, Armstead, Jones, Long? guys we might land in the second plus the 12 pick or drop down and get another second? Not sure he is proven. Armstead was impressive athletically

Struggles with separation time to move forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see us draft Austin, Goodwin, or Wheaton and see Matthews get some slot time A 3rd or 4th can land us a nice additional piece

Albert is due like $21M for 2 years so he isn't going anywhere unless he were to agree to less which isn't going to happen, so he is untradeable

If we stand pat and landed one for each of these picks, the FA additions stay healthy & are productive, this team could be scary if Tannehill matures into an Aikman Romo type QB that can hit the open receivers. I would add Bryant McKinnie to play LT for a year or two while Martin or the draft pick mentor under him. Can Winston play LT? 1 WR Tavon Austin 2a CB Dave Amerson , Darius

Johnson would be a third. I like staying where we are at taking the BPA. If we landed any of these players with these picks that would be a haul! 1 WR Tavon Austin 2a CB Dave Amerson , Darius Slay, Bidi Wreh-Wilson, Jordan Poyer 2b OT Menelik Watson, Terron Armstead,Kyle Long 3a RB Jonathan Franklin,Christine Michael,Monte ball,Knile Davis 3b S Phillip Thomas, JJ Wilcox,

Our first round could be determined by how much we, and others (especially Chargers), feel Lane Johnson is the real deal We could jump the Chargers, but they could trade up and take him also So the question is do we a trade a second & 12 to move up for Johnson or do we stand pat or trade down and go after a Menelik Watson, Kyle Long or Terron Armstead? I would try to sign Bryant M

OK, now I am smelling a trade up for Lane Johnson. maybe something like this 1 Lane Johnson (give up a second for Johnson) 2 Slay or Amerson (Big C 3 Jonathan Franklin, Monte Ball or Christine Michael(RB Depth) 3 Marquise Goodwin (Quick slot WR) 4 David Bass DE 5 Jordan Campbell LB 5 Dion Sims or Mychael Rivera TE 7 Dustin Hopkins Caleb Sturges K 7 Braden Brown or Luke marquardt OL 7

Samsam3738 Said "Damaged goods........It will be a miracle if he can contribute this year." Yeah samsam, and you would have traded Adrian Peterson as damaged goods! Risky but just like draft picks and 60% of players. and just a 1 year with bonuses odd, I wonder what that means for Marshall & Patterson We could go WR, OL, DB, TE or DE at 12, or trade down

if these guys stay healthy and we keep them, I think we will be better at CB than most think, maybe allowing us to draft a CB & a Safety. Not sold on Clemons even with his speed

Niners have 2nd pick in round 2 could move up if there isn't a bonified star at 12 We could load up with 31, 34, 42, 54 77 & 82 in the first 3 rounds Take a WR, 2 CB, OL, DE, RB Current picks 1st round — 12th overall 2nd round — 42nd 2nd round — 54th (from Colts for the trade of cornerback Vontae Davis) 3rd round — 77th 3rd round — 82nd (from Bears for the

The league has had a lot of late round or undrafted guys like John Randle that turned out to have pretty nice careers, and numerous high pick stiffs. Both these guys look quicker & more productive than Odrick and could be a available in 4-6 Not sure I see a totally different game. In what way?

CB is probably a position where major injuries and age have the biggest impact. Asomugha's play has spiraled down in 2 years

Catapano Pro day We land either of these guys, Jordan Campbell, and a top CB or two (Rhodes, Alford, Amerson, Wreh-Wilson, Slay, Poyer gratz Hawthorne) and our D could be top 3

Don't jump for the combine hype prospects like Ansah. Either of these guys or both(seahawk model!) could be killer with Wake and taken maybe 4th round or later Catapano from Princeton supposedly is turning heads. Really quick & agile for his size ' March 20th Pro-Day Results Weight 271, Height 6'3", 33 Reps Bench, Vertical 37.5, Broad Jump 9.8, 40 time (Held Outs

I think some of the strategy is to fill glaring needs to help hide what our draft picks will be so teams can't jump us knowing what we are going to take

Reminds me a bit of Steve Smith with speed like that defenders can't stay on them for too long Goodwin or Austin & Wallace speed threats that will open things up for Matthews Hartline & Gibson We need one of them or Markus Wheaton that can turn short passes into big plays

I love Austin and would consider him at 12, and I still think we will (a lot of CB & OL depth) but he is somewhat risk at his size You look at the Maclins, Harvins & Desean Jackson, who are like 20-25 lbs heavier than Austin and they have had health issues His moves are so quick that that does help somewhat prevent defenders from really zeroing in on him But every pick has risk

30. Goodwin
If we go Rhodes Ansah or OL in round one we could look at Marquise Goodwin in maybe round 3 or 4. I heard Gil Brandt say he tore it up at pro day. Only 5' 9" but 42" vertical! Ran 4.27 at combine
